Their love story began in 2005. After losing his daughter Cassie, Nick Newman was angry with then eventually formed a friendship with Phyllis Summers. They started a steamy affair in December 2005 that grew into a deep, passionate love. Nick eventually divorced Sharon and married Phyllis, not once but three times. They have a daughter, Summer Ann. Phyllis left Nick. Nick and Phyllis divorced. Finally, after a few short scenes to remind us that Phick was ever together, in April 2011 Phick had one night of passion down in St. Barts. Then a bit of fooling us with is Phick a couple or not. UGH! 2011 was not a great year for Nick & Phyllis. However, she seems to have started off 2012 with the bright idea that yes, maybe Nick & Phyllis are better together. After months of slowly building back trust in their relationship, they committed to a relationship in March 2012. In May, Phyllis found out she was pregnant though Nick proposed marriage to Phyllis baby or no baby. So far we have a healthy blueberry on our hands as we await the next Phick wedding that is LONG AWAITED! So far 2012 IS the year of Phick...

Nick is crazy in love with Phyllis right now & very excited for their "very athletic child" that is due in a few months. As he said when he proposed to Phyllis before he knew if she was pregnant or not, they make a great team. It is so nice to see the Nick Newman so many Phick fans fell in love with back on our screens again.
Phyllis has had a tough year losing custody of Lucy but finding her way back to Nick has been a highlight. Now that Nick has given her Miracle #2 in their "blueberry" & they are on top of the world, crazy in love, planning their wedding, we know that is about to fall apart? But what is about to happen to crush Phyllis' happiness? Time will tell!
